BP: Stardust Haiku: Poetry With a Little Sparkle

Valentina Ranaldi-Adams’ monthly journal, Stardust Haiku: Poetry With a Little Sparkle, is now online for July 2022. This is the sixty-seventh monthly issue. Haiku poets from Canada, India, Italy, Nepal, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America were included in this month’s collection.

Thanks, Valentina, for selecting one of my haiku for inclusion in this issue. It is as follows:

summer festival…

a dropped popsicle melts

into a rainbow

~Nancy Brady, 2022

In other haiku happenings, this past weekend found this pedometer geek writer with several haiku accepted by a couple of editors. They will be published soon. On the other hand, during the same weekend, a few rejections from editors were received as well. C’est la vie!

About pedometergeek

A pharmacist by profession, a haiku poet by nature, I read and write. I have a book of haiku, Ohayo Haiku, and another somewhat alternative haiku book, Three Breaths, but write other genres. I also read...lots of novels! My favorite is, and remains, Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged but I am also a big Harry Potter fan. I truly am a pedometer geek strapping on my pedometer as soon as I awaken.

Can’t you just see a small boy with a popsicle stained face, staring down at his lost treat. So well written.
