BP: Water, water, everywhere…

At the Haiku Foundation http://www.thehaikufoundation.org, there is a weekly column called Haiku Dialogue. This week the column has a new editor, Tia Haynes, and her focus was on water in motion. Check them all out there as there are some excellent haiku, some of which Tia has commented upon, but here’s mine:

ripples on the pond

I still can’t

skip stones

Next week’s theme is sky, and she will again choose haiku from the various haiku submitted.

By the way, Tia also has her own blog (Adalia), in which she showcases her own poetry like haiku, cherita, tanka, and more.

About pedometergeek

A pharmacist by profession, a haiku poet by nature, I read and write. I have a book of haiku, Ohayo Haiku, and another somewhat alternative haiku book, Three Breaths, but write other genres. I also read...lots of novels! My favorite is, and remains, Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged but I am also a big Harry Potter fan. I truly am a pedometer geek strapping on my pedometer as soon as I awaken.

  1. I can see the ripples, the stones thrown. Just exquisite, Nan.
