BP: Stardust Haiku Journal #36

This month this pedometer geek had one haiku accepted into the online journal: Stardust Haiku: Poetry With a Little Sparkle. This is the thirty-sixth issue that Valentina Ranaldi-Adams has published, and the journal just keeps getting better and better with each issue. She accepts submissions from the first to the fourteenth day of each month, selects from those submitted, and publishes each issue the last week of the month.

Here’s mine.

About pedometergeek

A pharmacist by profession, a haiku poet by nature, I read and write. I have a book of haiku, Ohayo Haiku, and another somewhat alternative haiku book, Three Breaths, but write other genres. I also read...lots of novels! My favorite is, and remains, Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged but I am also a big Harry Potter fan. I truly am a pedometer geek strapping on my pedometer as soon as I awaken.

  4. Michael,
I feel the same way about summer, too. I am always saddened knowing that June 21 is the beginning of the end of light, that we are moving toward winter. Instead of feeling uplifted, I quietly sigh. My paternal grandmother’s birthday was the 21st and knowing she is gone doesn’t help the feeling of sadness. Alas, time marches on. ~nan

  5. Exquisite! It glows through the darkness.

  6. Thanks, EtM; that is such a compliment. Happy Hogmanay! (Old Year’s Night AKA New Year’s Eve)
