This week’s prompt at the Haiku Foundation’s Haiku Dialogue was a hand-me-down toy. Here is my contribution, which was featured by the editor, Craig Kittner:

dings and dents

another generation learns

to ride the bike

Check out all the haiku at http://www.thehaikufoundation.org under Haiku Dialogue. There are plenty of excellent haiku.

About pedometergeek

A pharmacist by profession, a haiku poet by nature, I read and write. I have a book of haiku, Ohayo Haiku, and another somewhat alternative haiku book, Three Breaths, but write other genres. I also read...lots of novels! My favorite is, and remains, Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged but I am also a big Harry Potter fan. I truly am a pedometer geek strapping on my pedometer as soon as I awaken.

  1. Jules says:

Ah, you made me think of the wooden wagon some kind of flyer (not Radio though) – I snagged at a yard sale to make my gardening easier. It’s the kind that has four removable slat slides an it’s in terrific shape!

    Congratulations on your haiku 🙂
