Day 83, a sentence a day

A dreary gray day of freezing rain greeted the couple, who waited for rising temperatures to venture out to the store.

About pedometergeek

A pharmacist by profession, a haiku poet by nature, I read and write. I have a book of haiku, Ohayo Haiku, and another somewhat alternative haiku book, Three Breaths, but write other genres. I also read...lots of novels! My favorite is, and remains, Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged but I am also a big Harry Potter fan. I truly am a pedometer geek strapping on my pedometer as soon as I awaken.

I couldn’t wait for the freezing rain to stop. I had to shovel some of it last night. Even with a delay at the start of today I didn’t want to wait until this morning to clear the driveway.

  2. You probably stayed well ahead of the game by doing that. It pretty well melted off yesterday, but the temperature dropped again. The weatherman (person) said that today would be the low then on up into the forties for the rest of the week.
