A sentence a day, days 20, 21, 22, 23

Having had guests the last few days, this pedometer geek slacked off so am posting four days’ worth of sentences. Wishing everyone a happy 2015!

The house is full with three laughing children, one of whom is an unsteady-on-his-feet toddler.

Board games with grandchildren are lively as the clock ticks down, the crystal ball falls, and noisemakers are set off to mark the new year.

On a crisp winter day’s walk by the river, she and her grandson find some feral cats who watch warily from their cave among the rocks.

Spending an evening ‘chatting’ with a son in Afghanistan brings him a bit closer.

About pedometergeek

A pharmacist by profession, a haiku poet by nature, I read and write. I have a book of haiku, Ohayo Haiku, and another somewhat alternative haiku book, Three Breaths, but write other genres. I also read...lots of novels! My favorite is, and remains, Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged but I am also a big Harry Potter fan. I truly am a pedometer geek strapping on my pedometer as soon as I awaken.
